Job Description: 
This position will be responsible for developing and implementing tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize financial performance for our global operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of U.S. and international tax laws and regulations, as well as a proven track record of managing the tax function for a multinational corporation.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Lead and oversee all aspects of global tax compliance, planning and strategy for international operations, including VAT, federal, state, local and regional tax filings in multiple jurisdictions (North America, EMEA, APAC)
  • Manage relationships with external tax advisors and auditors to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize financial performance across different regions.
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to other departments on tax-related matters, including acquisitions, divestitures and restructurings.
  • Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations in multiple jurisdictions and ensure compliance with all applicable requirements.
  • Prepare and review tax provisions and financial statements.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on tax implications of business decisions and strategies.

Ideal Profile: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or advance degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 12  years of tax experience, including leadership experience in a multinational corporation.
  • Extensive knowledge of U.S. and international tax laws and regulations.
  • Extensive experience managing 3rd part relationships
  • Strong leadership, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience in the chemical manufacturing industry preferred.
  • Hybrid role with onsite presence in Wilmington from time to time.
